The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

He smiled at how easily she could make skipping school seem like nothing more than deciding not to have a cup of coffee in the morning. “I just graduated twelfth grade not too long ago. My first day of college was today actually, but based on how things turned out, it looks like I won’t be having to endure another one of Mr. Simmons’ physics lectures anytime soon,” he concluded, grinning at his luck.
(Sorry this took so long. I got busy, and now, I'm half asleep. XD I'll try to make sense.)
"Physics? Wow, you must be pretty smart then." Her sentence was followed by a loud shriek echoing through the trees. She stopped to look back and try to see through the gloom, if there was anything there.

She paled as a scream echoed through the trees. She shivered, Kylan’s words echoed in her head ‘we don’t know what’s our there’. Aria’s eyes flicked around tracing the dark forest surrounding her. She heard something move in the trees behind her. She whirled. Her eyes widening

Juliana's eyes widened in fear, she couldn't see what it was but there was definitely something there. "Bane, I think there's something back there."

Aria teleported back to the group. “There is something with red eyes in that forest” she was trembling, but not because she was cold.

Kipp stared unblinking, at the weird creatures scampering around them. Calling for the missing kids had been the wrong call. It was attracting everything near by. He didn't dare take his eyes off them. He had to be ready to react if they decided to attack.

Fred sighed. He was done being angry at Kipp. It wasn’t Kipps fault, he should have gone and spoken to him earlier. Fred crosses over to Kipp, “Hi Kipp. I wanted to apologise for my behaviour, I was being ridiculous.”

Kipp jumped automattically clobbering Fred over the head with a wing and knocking him to the ground.

"Fred!? Don't DO that!" He hissed, "Sorry. You scared me." He said offering him a hand back up. "Are you ok?" Kipps ears twitched listening for movement, he had only half his attention on Fred. "You don't have to apologize. You're right, I shouldn't have ignored you."

"Sounds like it. Ah." Lilith nodded, happy to have learned something new. "It..." She paused, unsure of what to say. It wasn't their fault. Was what she almost said, but that would undoubtedly stir up some questions from him about why she hadn't befriended them, and that didn't exactly ring out to her as an interesting conversation at the moment.
Instead, she shrugged uncaringly, but she knew he must've noticed her sudden silence. "It was fine, probably better." She murmured, deciding to change the subject. "What is it like, over there? Where you're from." She asked, not noticing that someone new had joined the crowd.

He wanted to ask more about it, but her quick subject change told him to keep his questions to himself.
“It’s really cold, but it’s... it’s beautiful. In the winter, everything gets covered in frost, giving it a sort of magical glow. All of the lakes get frozen over, and the mountains get covered in snow. When I was younger I used to love trying to see fish through the ice.” Kevin paused, closing his eyes as he pictured it. “And everything is always so green. My parents own a little log cabin down by the water, and it honestly looks like something out of a... er, a skazka, with all the flowers wrapped around the house, and the birds. It’s something you would have to really see to imagine.” He looked at her, giving her a small smile.
“What about America? I’ve only been there once, a few years ago. What’s it like?”

(Bye!)
"I am a cougar." Sniffing the undergrowth intently, he realized he wasn't sure what he was talking to either. "What are you?"

Has to happen at some point... Carson thought, preparing to push through the undergrowth and reveal himself and Buck. "Come along, but no growling. We don't want to scare or harm anyone in any way, alright?" He quickly ordered his big cat before showing himself. He eyed the group warily, realizing there were a lot more people than he originally thought there would be. Buck stood beside him, gazing curiously at Rylie. "Uh... Hi." Carson said hesitantly. "Where are we?"
‘I am a cat,’ Rylie replied, glowering warily at the animal before him. It was admirably large and powerful, but it wasn’t nearly as wild and terrifying as some of the beasts in that forest. ‘Do you or that man come from this place? I do not.’

“Who are you?” Kyle asked, calling up from his mount. Hope surfaced in his mind, it could be a native... but it was quickly snuffed out. I’m sure a native wouldn’t be stupid enough to wander outside at night. And he’s wearing non-native clothing. Presumably.
“We don’t know where we are. Do you?”

Fred’s hands went to his head in surprise. “Owwww Heey it’s me you idiot” Fred said rubbing his head where he had been clobbered to the ground. “But I should have come over and said hi instead of expecting you to”

He glanced down at the dagger in his hand and blinked at it in surprise. He hadn't realized he had drawn it out. Reluctantly, he put it back into his belt. "I'm not sure." He admitted. "One moment Buck and I were going for a walk and the next we were in a strange forest."
"Did you fall through a door?" The ginger rudely shoved Blair out of the way, eyes lighting up as she interrogated the man. Blair looked at the cougar, raising a brow, but didn't say anything, for it just sat there quietly.
"Oh, maybe you got grabbed by aliens? Could have happened, I mean..."
The wild sounds of the forest rang in Take’s ears. Sounds such as croaks, hissing, bleats, and clicking from the bestial and cryptic entities that lived in the dark woodland. Since Take had night vision, he could make out what these entities looked like, and they appeared nothing like normal animals. Though they moved quick and never stayed in one spot for long as they followed the group, tilting heads, flashing beady and huge eyes. They’re stalking us...
Take felt slightly threatened by them, but he was ready to deal with them if they tried something.
He suddenly sensed a buzzing in his pocket, it was his phone.
He pulled it out, eyeing the alarm that was going off, reminding him he has work in an hour.
Yeah I’m definitely not going to make it today... I doubt my manager would understand, and think I was making up some wild story..
He slid it off with his thumb and put it back in his pocket, taking an exhaled breath. This is a drag.
Aella's voice slowly faded into the rest of the inane chatter in the background as Blair slowly retreated into the back of the group while they interrogated the guy. A creature scuttled by her feet, pausing momentarily. It was mouse like, with enlarged beady eyes and what appeared to be wings. And it was massive, grayish brown and moving oddly before it dashed away, vanishing.
She grimaced, deeply disturbed by the sight of the creature. She watched it leave, continuing on her way without looking where she was going and ran smack dab into Take's chest. "Sorry!" She gasped out, looking up at him, taking a step back. "This place is really weird. I don't like it at all."

He wanted to ask more about it, but her quick subject change told him to keep his questions to himself.

Lilith smiled, intrigued by the sound of it. "That's sounds great, I'd love to photograph somewhere like that." Skazka... Must mean picture or story...
As he asked her about America, she paused. "I've really only been in Kentucky and Tennessee, but... It depends where you are. In the cities it's so populated that it's smothering, loud and confusing. I grew up in Lexington and there's a lot of horse stables around there, but in winter when it got covered in snow it was absolutely beautiful. There was this one fountain around there that would completely freeze over and looked amazing when the light hit it right, I'd spend hours taking photos of it. As for Nashville... It's a huge city, bridges, parkways, restaurants, the whole shebang. My favorite place is the parks around it in fall, when the leaves have all changed but none have dropped." She explained quietly, petting Tru. "Right now everything's covered in snow."
