“Why thank you. This is interesting isn’t it? We are at a garage being told off” Aria whispered in Torins earKylan had to choke down a cackle at the fact that she hadn't disagreed to his idea of slapping their personal healer and samurai-chick.
Torin laughed, sticking out his hand so he could shake her hand all proper like his parents did with people. "Yep! I know, Kylan told me a lot about you." He giggled, smiling. "I like your name. It's cool. Ar-ee-aa. Nice."
She could feel his disappointment radiate off her, her powers tingling. She raised her hands as she strode beside him, lighting them up to a blue to guide her way. She smiled, knowing that a few months ago if she'd seen that light, she'd have seen just proof of her being a murderer.
"I live in Nashville, so I guess I'm pretty used to it. Not that I don't still hate it, though." Lilith said, shrugging. "Mine's April 28th, so I'm not sure. Maybe we will have to, I'm sure me and Kylan aren't the only ones." She said, committing his birth-month to memory. "Hold on."
She whipped her phone back out, flicking it on and checking the date. "It's... Man, it's April 19th already."
She glanced at him, feeling his anxiety. "I know this sounds stupid, but... Whatever it is, don't worry. I've never been to Missouri before, but there's probably plenty of Russians walking around with chickens... Yeah."
”What’s a coronavirus?” Aria asked confused“Haven’t you seen the news? The Coronavirus epidemic! The reason you don’t have school! Now go back to your parents and stop acting stupid!” a policewoman put in. She was running out of patience. These kids were acting stupid and wasting her time.
“I agree... are we sure this is Missouri?” Cam whispered back. “Kevin? Are you sure this isn’t your home?” Last time I checked they don’t have curfews in Missouri, but maybe I’m wrong.
“Wait. Coronavirus?” Cam asked incredulously. “You mean the one from China? And we’re now being quarantined from it?” It took her a while to remember the jokes that were made at school about the Chinese virus. She had had other things to worry about. “It’s that deadly?”
