Kevin opened his eyes, watching the group disappear into the forest. He stood up, stuffing the baby chicks into his pockets and tucking the mama hen under his arm. He grabbed his gun, swinging it over his shoulder and following behind them. He didn’t think it was smart to leave, but he was the only one with a weapon and he wasn’t going to abandon all the kids.

Physical description and abilities: She's an eleven year old girl. "How long... have you been ten?" "About two years, it's kinda trippy actually." When she was brought over to Borealis, she stopped aging. Maybe it's because her mother didn't want her to grow up and become like Haddie, maybe it's because Haddie didn't want her to have to grow up too soon, as she did. Maybe Borealis has strange effects on human young, whether or not descended from Borealins. Whatever the case, she is a little less than two years older than when Haddie last saw her. She can see people, see their strengths, and weaknesses. It could be confused for deeply mature insight, if she were to remark on the most dominant strengths of anyone with strong character, but the first time she saw Haddie, at four years old in a courthouse, her eyes lit up, and she whispered something in her ear. Haddie smiled, a queer smile, a bit confused, but overjoyed that someone was so happy about her gift. Their parents were not happy with the embarrassing appearance of a unicorn in a courthouse, but Maria was overjoyed.
Personality (since you insist on adding it anways): She's young. She hasn't aged bodily, and has scarcely grown emotionally, since she was taken. While she will often make very deep and insightful remarks regarding the character of different people, in between them, she's still a child. She's sweet and goofy and sometimes petulant. She misses her sister more than anything.
