I saw one of the Italians loaded with this bright orange pollen this morning. I am sure it was harvested from the few dandelions that are blooming. They were really busy this morning bringing in orange pollen. Whatever that is.

Something has to be blooming unless they are gathering corn or feed fines. I had Buckfast bees (meanest bees I have ever had). They were fighting the deer for the cracked corn I was putting out for the birds. They would gather the fines just like they gather pollen. I watched a young buck as he grabbed a mouthful of cracked corn and bees at the same time. He did not stick around long as a bunch of the little stingers went after his head.No dandelions here yet. The greens aren’t even up yet.

You want to avoid their flight path. If you happen to be directly in the flight path, they will slam right into you. Been there, done that. The ones coming from the west I could see well, I even heard a few as they buzzed by me on approach.
If you have rhubarb up, you have dandelions up unless you poisoned them all. I just checked pics of my rhubarb, the dandelions weren't blooming at the time but the greens were up.No dandelions here yet. The greens aren’t even up yet.
