Had a dark bee land on my arm yesterday and wander all over it. then i tried to set it down on the rockbed of the koi pond filter... so it could find water.... yeah, nope. it flew over to my kidos head and strted to walk in her hair... I got it out and back on my hand and tried again at the water.... nope. it wanted the salty sweat on my arm... go figure. The entire event was a bout 5 minutes long and the rear abdomen never pulsed. it was totally relaxed and that was so cool to watch...

I added another brood box today. I can’t believe how fast they are filling up the first one. I only had a little over one frame empty. Now they have 11 frames empty.


The WW videoed me closing up the hive. I can’t believe what I learned. I thought I was being so gentle... but I saw I squished some girls.

Next time I will use the brush first.

If they are going sting me, their stinger is going to have to be an inch and a half long.

Nope, no way, no how. I do not have a full body suit. I do have a jacket with an attached hooded veil. I do have gloves. I am not concerned about needing extra socks since I wear boots. do wear a pair of blue jeans and a western shirt with snaps. If I had on everything you listed, I would not be able to move.

The other thing is that there are not any boats on my property.

That is a V hull. It is my Lake Superior boat, it is 25 ft with a deep V and a cuddly so I can sleep on the water.

The white one is a Carolina skiff, that’s my normal boat for everyday fishing. It is 18 ft.

The last one is 14 ft, I don’t use it much unless I am going into a place that is tight to get into, or has hazards, it is light enough to pull through river shallows.

Everyone in Minnesota has several boats. I have two canoes, a pontoon, a 12 and 14 ft boat at the cabin, and the 2 kayaks in the shed that the turkeys use.
