OMG that little one is so cute with the feathered feet!

My dog is a jerk around the chickens. He is a rat terrier mix & wants to hunt anything he can (especially chipmunks, they drive him NUTS). He is pretty well behaved normally, but when he is after something it's like he can't even hear me. I would never trust him around the chickens.

Laughing at your picture of your terrier! He looks like Amelia Earhart sitting there waiting to take off!!

Guys! Guys! We are FINALLY one full weekend of work away from the BIG MOVE OUT! (Don't judge me lol, the rain in Virginia has been no joke lately). Sharing more progress pictures for those who are interested. It's not perfect, but it's ours and we built it from the ground up! Namaste!

That looks amazing! They should be very happy birds! You were not joking about the rain in Va, I am in Powhatan and last year and this winter was awful. Just wet wet wet, and now my grass is crunchy.

Thank you!! Exactly! I was wishing for the rain to stop (that was dumb) and now it's so hot and dry that we've been watering the garden this week. *Sigh* We can never have a happy medium but i could never leave Virginia, so beautiful in so many ways. YAY A local! I lived on Red Lane and in Cumberland for many years! Great area for Indian relics!

I lived in Cumberland many moons ago, on the road they are trying to put the Mega dump on, Miller lane, and I'm just off Judes Ferry.
Glad I found a local! ( will not suggest a chicken play date )
