Hey everyone, who is ready for hummer season!

I'm ready every day. This past Sunday one of our resident hummers came up to the porch and buzzed me, I was wearing red sweatpants and obviously looked too appetizing!

Thank you!! I used the canon 90d with just the kit lens that comes with it (EF-S 18-135mm)! I got so lucky that this hummingbird let me get within 5 inches from it and hung around for over an hour!

Oh awesome thank you! My Canon did not come with a lens but I am trying to find out which one I will get this year

Looks like they're Anna's hummingbirds, as that's the species that stays in the area even through winters. I generally have between 1-3 through the winter near the house, as I keep replenishing feeders during cold weather.
