Good luck to y’all! Take pics of the monsters you catch. Tomorrow, I’m taking the girls on the last fishing trip of the summer. We will be going after catfish this time.

Good luck to y'all as well. It is so nice that you take your girls. I think it is so important that girls now they can do anything they want.

Praying for beautiful weather here on the 22nd. We are going deep sea fishing, with who I think is the best charter boat Captain, at least in our area. Been out with him many years ago and caught a bunch of Black Fin Tuna as well as other fun and yummy fish.
I caught a 42.5 lb Amber Jack (It almost pulled me off the boat.).
This time we will be looking for Swordfish, but some nice tuna, grouper or tile would be nice as well.
Making sure the kids have what they want and need, I need to purchase a few things for me. I am getting really excited and I think DD and BF are too. I know DH is.
We will leave mid day wed, check into hotel in Venice, LA. Meet with Peace. (charter captain, and yes that is his real first name, his name is Peace Marvel and he loves what he does as well as being great at it). Except the 12 gage would knock me on my butt. I use a 30-06 for deer and hog hunting.
My shotgun of choice is a 16 gage, which I love.

Wow! I’m surprised to see this threads still somewhat alive! Anybody else on here do any floundering? It’s my favorite fishing, also tastes the best, it’s hard to beat blackened flounder.

Flounder is far from the best tasting in my official fish tasting judge status.

I've went flounder fishing several weeks ago and caught the limit of 15. It was delicious.
