Wow! 15!! Did you walk or go off a boat? Where at? Around here in nw fl that’s a lot.I've went flounder fishing several weeks ago and caught the limit of 15. It was delicious.

Yeah there’s probably better tasting fish out there but if fish that you can anctualy catch or in this case gig it’s my personal favorite.Flounder is far from the best tasting in my official fish tasting judge status.
Bass is good in winter and spring after June first it turns muddy.Brim is good but a pain to eat thanks to all the bones, and I’ve heard bass is good but I’ve never seen one big enough to eat.

Depends where you are, when I fish in Michigan in July the bass are huge and really tasty. Caught a crappie school recently too, so tasty but so many bonesBass is good in winter and spring after June first it turns muddy.
Northerns are good, walleye are acceptable. Halibut is good.
Sunfish and Crappies are super out of cold water.
