Bama, so glad you are home and doing well. My friend and her husband had cataract surgery and they said it was amazing how bright things were after surgery, like they had been looking through a fog ( no pun intended....

). Amazing what they can do today! Good luck!

I just had my first Partridge Orp chicks hatch during the day today

Don I have my first Chocolate bantam chick hatched from the choo girls you sent me. I had a Cock from my Choc in with them. The other one was pipping so I am hoping to get two. I have two little pullets already hatched from the little man you sent over my girls and one of them looks like a little round ball. So cute. They were hen hatched back in the early part of Dec.

Julie, good to hear from you. I have choc chicks running everywhere. I'm done hatching chocs. I will have the black bantams you want. I kept 2 pullets out of the split guy and choc hen that are black. They don't carry the choc gene and I'm breeding them to one of my blacks. They will look like you blacks or more english type.

If you import yourself, what lines do most of you get your birds from? I've heard Ramsley and Sandra Hildreth are very good breeders, are there others?

Don't know if yall have seen the news but I am about 10 miles from where that crazy man shot a school bus driver and killed him and has that young child hostage. I can't imagine what his parents are going through and the little boy too. I know all those kids on bus were terrified seeing a man shot right in front of them

OMG!!

I did not see that! How horrifying! I will look it up on the headline news this morning. WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE TODAY!

This is nothing to the magnitude of that story, but the other night someone pulled up and stole our log splitter right out of the yard ($1200), what kind of person does that?
