What a big difference 5 weeks makes.

I posted this picture of one of my "hopefuls" from the chocolates I was growing out a while back.




Here he is 5 weeks later at almost 6 months.

5 weeks makes a whale of a difference with young birds. Isn't he getting handsome !

This is what happens when I open the baby run gate.....9 had already made it out of camera range! Babies 10-4 weeks old.

Still seeming like a roo?? 5.5 weeks. Comb doesn't seem to have gotten any bigger or redder over the past week. Not sure if that is relevant at all.







And this is my blue/black. The one standing on the left (post dust bath). Same age as the splash. Any guesses on gender?

Has anyone had any luck rehoming through the buy sell trade thread on BYC? Just a little nervous about trying that since it says I can't post anywhere else and I want to have the best odds of finding a good home for this little guy when it's time. Thinking craigslist might be better since it would at least mainly be more local. But
