You'll get a bunch of reddish-orange and Buff colored birds that won't breed true.
if i cross a buff orp. with a RiR the offspring will be a sunrise orpington

so i'm guessing you would get about the same results

I am in search of a high quality English Black Orpington Rooster of breeding age....pure Black, no BBS breeeding. I thought I would inquire on the list in case someone on here had some or knows where a person might find them. I desperately need the male but would really like to find a breeding pair or trio. They do have to be good ones in type and color.

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. I have not had much luck in locating pure Blacks. Nearly everything I see is a BBS breeding program.

Thanks so much for any help someone might be able to offer

Hey I'm trying to post some of my Eng. Choc. Orp Eggs (med. Bantam) for sale, and it says I'm not allowed. Anyone know off hand why? Is it because I'm new?
