She has a nice little rural 10 acres in Petaluma, CA (former chicken capital of the West Coast) and her American-style buffs are all quite elderly now. Took them over yesterday and they settled in right away. It was adorable to see the little cockerel strutting around and guarding his girls and bringing them bugs (they're only 11 weeks old). They're gonna have a great life up there!

Where might I find some of these beauties? :p I know for sure they won't be in a hatchery(good) so next best thin I can think of is local breeders..

I now have a new quest.
