The IMPORTED ENGLISH Orpington Thread

Alright I have 4 orpingtons. 2 are supposed to be lemon cuckoos one is a clear mystery to me and the other is supposed to be a gold laced. They are 3 weeks old so it may be too hard to tell what exactly they will grow up to be but any input on their colors is much appreciated.

Those seem to be 2 lemon cuckoo, a gold laced and a buff I believe. Hope this helps

You think the light yellow/white one with the random brown feathers could be a cuckoo? I know it's an orpington but i don't know what. The guy had jubilee orps as well could that be the coloring coming out?

We have chicks! The parents are all mottled orpingtons but one chick looks blue...?

Is that little guy up front a blue?

There could be a chance it's a jubilee orp, or it could be a mix. To me it looked a little too light in color to be a jubilee but it could be mixed

I thought the same thing. The little guy should have been a darker color by now if it was a jubilee. I guess we will see what it's like when it grows up! I call her the mystery chick lol

Thank you so much. You are so sweet
Thank you

I, personally, plan on buying my buffs from @MsKay . I love her birds and she's very honest.
Thank you so much! You are so sweet. ;) I do want to say that mine are not 100% English. I have an English Roo over american hens. My hens are very good quality and are very large and fluffy like the English but they are american.

Your birds are such great quality, I prefer your mix of American and english. Thanks for pointing that out though, I forgot they weren't 100% english. I've been meaning to ask you if you sell hatching eggs? I just had a very disappointing experience with my broody so I bought an incubator to try to salvage some of her eggs but it was a failure so I'm hoping to try to hatch some. I've never incubated before. So far I have 6 of my mottled eggs to put in.

lemons wouldn't have any discoloration like that, also not a cuckoo or a jubilee.
