We are in the thick of it right now. So far the bad storms have skirted us. But I did move the bators to the basement and the brooder will go down when I go. Thought about bringing in a cage but then I would have to decide which chickens to put in it. I have a broody guinea hen in the bushes infront of the house that has stayed throughout all the nasty weather we have had this week. I have thought about putting one of these eggs that should hatch today under her so she can hatch one and be done. There is no Mr. guinea so none of her eggs are fertile unless rooster/guinea works and that would just be scarey!!
I can't even imagine Magellan, my icon crossed with a lavendar guinea. I don't know whether to laugh or cry! I can only hope they aren't fertile at least not all of them, she's sitting on about 18 eggs!!
