The IMPORTED ENGLISH Orpington Thread

Oh Drats. I hope you can find him. That blue boy in the photo is really nice. I can't wait to see him all grown up.

Thank you Julie, I love watching them all change. He is so sweet to. I think (no kidding) that these birds are right there in friendliness as Silkies maybe more so.

I love my girls too. I would have gotten more pics but the camera battery quit and then I couldn't find my other Black Roo. I am really worried.

I think we all are going to make a Sam's Club run and get some Lithium batteries for our Cameras. I could only make 3 pics this afternoon before it quit.
I will be praying you find your Black okay.

No Fair Kathy, i don't even have one that looks that good so far.

Germaine, I will email my address to you so you can ship me those ugly, horrible splash pullets that you really don't want. I will be so happy to help you out and take them off your hands!!!! I am your true friend, you know!

Your birds look like they are really going to be big, round kids. They are at the age where I am most ignorant, though, and I need to look at more "tweenie" pictures to know anything. And I really hope you found the black boy-

Kathy- that blue boy is stunning, and he knows it- look at the way he stands! And I always love your group shots- everyone out there pecking away, and the dog in the middle of it all!

All of mine, including Skoche, are alive and well and eating up a storm this morning. How soon can you tell a black from a dark blue- the one I think might be black has SUCH a dark head and back, nothing smoky about it- any hints I can look for?

Germaine, any news as to whether or not your roo came home for breakfast?

Good morning everyone!
ETA: My new little ones are getting rounder and rounder each day, I find myself forgetting how quickly chicks grow. I had to fill their feeder three times yesterday. (Morning, afternoon and late evening.) Next time I go to the feed store I'm going to have to buy them their own separate bag of feed that I keep inside!
