I will have black pullets ready soon. How far are you from Cleveland?

Strange about the white skin. I have had that happen in cochin females with thier ears. Sometimes it goes away when they hit POL, sometimes not. They all have it in the same place though, so it must be inherited.

Amy, I still want some eggs sired from that big tank of a boy you have

If you took your Mauve pullets back to your Choc roo you would get 50% Choc males and females and 50% Mauve males and females.

Yes, breeding a Choc male to a Mauve female will result in males and females of both colors.

I've never seen a great pic of a Mauve male either, this is the best I've seen.

I haven't taken many pics lately because the girls are little houdinis! They can get out of ANY saddle, and are outright determined to be naked. I am wide open for egg orders, but its just too hot to save any up.

When it gets cooler there let me know and I'll make sure my bator is empty!
