Yipppeeee We love Mabel.

I'm pretty positive your Splash is a cockerel. He looks a lot like some of the baby boys I've raised...
My husband wants so desperately to only believe that Darryl is a pullet too..... it's super sad to see him be in such denial. We only love these two birds like mad. So kind and so friendly. Wish I could keep him/her.....

I guess this makes for my "anyone interested in this lovely BOY" PAGE?

I thought she looked like a pullet...but has acted more roostery (is that even a word haha) since being hatched..I kept waiting for the comb to develop and crowing to start :)

I have a terrible time trying to tell these birds apart for a long time..Jeremy has a lot of experience with these birds..so he will know..I still cant tell, especially hard because there is australrop cockeral in with them that their is no doubt about that one being male..the english still have pink comb and tiny wattles..so I just dont know..to me at least 2 of them seem masculine..but time will tell..its raining or I would take some pics..

Any idea what size cage to show these birds? Our 4H Poultry club is brand new this year, we can show our birds but need to supply our own cages, and of course my 8 yr old wants to show the Eng Orp pullet.
