They had a picture box at the Panhandle show so I had one of the girls pictures made. It was a nice idea. I think the lighting needs some work as it washes out the color.. The pose was good though. You can see the good lacing.

My breath sucked in and my mouth dropped when I saw this picture. Color not right because of the photo hell! You can tell that w/out thinking! That is one beautiful girl!!!

BamaChicken - you should really be proud. A bird like that does not just pop up. Your hard work, time, and efforts has paid off. That blue hen is drop dead gorgeous! WOW!

Thank you all. I love looking at her in the pen. she is a favorite of mine. I loved the look she was giving and picking that head up when I was trying to get her to stand correctly. I made a pic of the other girl but they never could get a good shot like this one. She was leaning down or turning around.
I have a few chicks hatching tonite. 3 out and two to go. I have one out a breed pen I have been waitng on and am hoping for a blue and not a splash but we will see. Right now just hoping it hatches. It has pipped . The first chicks I hatched out of my black over splash pair are growing really nicely. The pullets are big. I am thinking they are going to have decent lacing but I have to wait a bit longer to be sure. They are only 5 weeks old afterall. Seems good to have some chicks. Didn't realize how much I missed them.

I know what u mean. Hatching seldom stops around here. I have some BBS Marans down to hatch now. Last week I hatched 10 Silkies, blue, splash, and Paint/Porcelian splits. VIVI

Bama.. There was probably florescent lighting in the building. They make taking accurate color pictures more difficult. She is a beauty
