I've been thinking about all the alarming talk about chicken "snatchers". Do you professional breeders use a P.O. box instead of a physical address on your shipments? Also, do your websites have any information that could lead someone to your physical address? Does your local phone directory have your business name with an address? All it would take, now-a-days, is your last name and city. I know the NPIP papers need the address. Could they have a P.O.Box instead? Just thinking, while I'm alarmed. How about the paperwork for shows, club membership? Another fancier might just be more enthusiastic about your birds than their own at a show?

Not convinced that posting pictures is the real culprit, or certainly not the only, since this forum has been around for a couple of years with thousands of pictures of perfect birds. Is the problem recent? Or has it happened before in the past?

I will take the necessary steps to help me sleep at night, but I refuse to make myself any more paranoid. Then again, I only have a few birds. I know some of you have $$$ "mucho dinero" invested.

If I am unable to return to the forum, I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas or Happy Hanuka. Your friendship has been a very special gift for me. Be safe everyone. BTW, I have a second pullet laying

I have this(100/75% English) pair of 2 1/2 month old splash available... because there wasn't room enough in the box along with all the other chickens I sent to Vivi. They both can ship just fine in a single stall adult box. PM me if your interested.
