They weren't GL so I didn't pay close attention. Not that I don't love many of the other varieties, I just don't know squat about them. Need to work on that.

Today the Jubilee and Partridge kids got to move out side and got a new coop. They'll stay here till they're old enough to breed and lay, then be moved to separate coops for breeding. Can't wait till these beauties fill out and get all their adult feathers

Beautiful Babies. How old are they? I see GL in the background. Two cockerels?

Had to deny Victoria the right to brood. She hasn't quite figured it out and given her age she was in Jail (first picture) and today came out with nothing but attitude. And not just with Max. When I talked to her she gave me the same porcupine attitude.

This was my version of Breaking a Broody. DragonLady helped me figure it out. The pen is suspended and rocks back and forth on the perch. She was NOT happy.

This was her attitude when I let her out to eat. I know Vickie I let her out too soon, but we were suppose to get a storm last night, which it didn't, and I didn't want to her to get rained on

and I wanted her to eat. I'm putting her in jail as soon as she has something to eat and drink.

Too funny Deek...I put mine in a pen by themselves with food and water for a few days and it breaks them...not that I have this problem with my Gold Laced...can't even get them to lay. Everyone else has picked up and started laying better...but not the ones I want to lay the most....not my luck.
Your girl is beautiful!!

WOW..they are beautiful birds...I absolutely LOVE your fencing too....
Thank you Aveca. I used regular fencing on the outside, then divide my pens with portable dog kennels, so I Can move them and make them bigger or smalleras needed. Makes it much easier on hubby when I'm not askign his help in building fence. LOL

The Gold's in the background are almost a year. The partridge are about 3-4 months and the Jubilees are about 3...I think. I'm judging by the age they were when I bought them. I need to email the lady I bought them from to get the dates so I know when to change their feed to layer.
