The IMPORTED ENGLISH Orpington Thread

Had to deny Victoria the right to brood. She hasn't quite figured it out and given her age she was in Jail (first picture) and today came out with nothing but attitude. And not just with Max. When I talked to her she gave me the same porcupine attitude.

This was my version of Breaking a Broody. DragonLady helped me figure it out. The pen is suspended and rocks back and forth on the perch. She was NOT happy.

This was her attitude when I let her out to eat. I know Vickie I let her out too soon, but we were suppose to get a storm last night, which it didn't, and I didn't want to her to get rained on

and I wanted her to eat. I'm putting her in jail as soon as she has something to eat and drink.
She's got your number ! Back in jail. You CAN put food and water in there !

She's back in jail. I made sure of it before you saw the thread. I don't like being in trouble.

What was funny, or not funny I suppose, was that not only did she have an attitude with Max, but every now and then she'd look at me and flap her wings and make like a porcupine. As if she was remembering that she was mad at me. Total attitude. I will put food and water in there. It will be a mess though if she keeps rocking the boat in disgust.

I think she had potty mouth in two languages! Gotta love her. Who wants boring chickens that behave and are polite all the time? Show me some spunk! (As long as it doesn't include spurs and beaks!)
