I have the silliest grin on my face anyone ever saw after all those pictures! Great chicks and wonderful birds!

Now I have a really crazy pic to share. My cockerel (hatched around Oct 3rd) decided he's just ready for some hen action. So he got put in with the old girls tonight in their coop for manners. Well, he was scared and looked for a hot babe to snuggle with like he's used to. Found a California Grey that is broody. Somehow I don't think she's as thrilled with the whole thing as he is:

I think Renie and I and other northeasterners are about to get some snow ..Im not sure how much just yet,,,bummer,

Okay.....maybe I shouldn't tell you that it is going to be in the 80's tomorrow here in Central Texas?!?!?
