Oh my Nellie ! I'll bet now that he's out, those wings will come up too. Nice birds ! Forgot to mention...How nice to see clean, snow white birds. Not a hint of yellow, or brass anywhere ! Dirt either .

I think they are being a little lazy. But I will watch them. Thank you

I have two English females, and this is my first hatch with both of them. They are young so I am getting an egg a day from each of them. They will level out and average eggs a year should be around 180-220. They are great mothers and some go broody often.

Soon to be in the big brooder. Water FF

I feed my chicks FF..however I do feed the crumbles/seeds/ground up meat/greens for new chicks. They are attracted to the pecking noises and fresh foods too. I sprinkle the brooder with tiny seeds and crumbles and keep the FF/meat by the water.

Thanks for the info!! I will start fermenting some of their feed as well!
