How young!?!?

They hatched on Friday. So a few days

I have chicks in the house that hatched on Friday. I love to hear them making their peeping sounds but what is funny when you know you have a cocky little cockerel. He has been practicing his little shrill crow. He makes the sound and i say to my Dear husband. There goes the little rooster again. It is so funny when they do that so young.

I have been hearing that too Julie..and the little rooster warning calls when the dog comes into the room..too funny... Ive been so busy just watching them..Hope you post some pics for us..I will when I find the adaptor to the camera..its right around here somewhere..

My eyes are still tired from watching all of the action..so much fun!!! once you see those pips..they rest, then few hours later they start cracking thier way out..never gets old or tired..All of the eggs from my own barn I lay down to hatch..only with shipped eggs do I sit them up like that..
