My orps are currently in the awkward no feathers phase... But they very much enjoyed stomping around in the mud after the monsoon rains we had today!

Yeah, I seem to be having a roo-tastic year this year! Out of 16 chicks of different breeds I am afraid 2/3 of them are going to turn out to be Roos.

a friend of mine is also having that problem...out of 20 chicks he only got 4 pullets

I have been de-throned...I am the legendary queen of the rooster hatch..LOL!

This year for some reason I have..10 pullets and 2 cockerals..
