It's good to see nice tight wings on this bird. Loose wings are starting to be a huge problem in the Orps.

She is so pretty and so fluffy. If it was me I would breed with her, see if you can't get more of those big splashes. They'll have to invent a new name. Maybe Holstein Orpington ;-)

I of course will be using her in the breed pen. It will be interesting to see if I ever get another like her pattern. Thank you for your compliments on her. She is a pretty thing. Hard not to be fluffy when your mama is one fo these girls here

Oooooo!! Pretty! I believe the Splash Gods distribute their wealth unevenly! Lookit all them gorgeous babies you have and I have YET to hatch even ONE! This next season holds no promise either as I hatched only one cockerel and he is black.

Finally had a sunny day to take a few pics ") 3 Young fellows I hatched out this Season. Each has a different hatch date.... thus explaining the different stages of maturity.... also... Our weather has been hard on my birds in the grow out yards... soo their conditioning could certainly be better.

They have been raised together ") That helps ")

thank you... but as I mentioned in my original post... the weather has been rough on them soo their condition isn't as good as it should be.

Good idea. The only Orps I have seen in the last few years that don't seem to have wing problems are the black Orps......or at least that is my experience and I get all around the US..
