I hatch chocolate cuckoos all the time, but I've never had one look like the one you pictured.
Mine always hatch with one circular white spot in the middle of the head.

I can see I'm going to have to keep an eye on these chicks and see what they turn out to be when they are bigger... I'll try to take pics every few weeks!

I didn't look back at the pics in the previous post. Doesn't look like chocolate cuckoo from the pics, sorry

. Kinda sounded like it with the yellow on the top of the head of a solid chic but doesn't look like it. Keep us posted

3 chicks.. one looks black.. the others look brown to me (not the best of pics.. but it should give you an idea of the colors)
