Black Copper Marans chick. We raise both black coppers and Oprs., I would check with the person it came from and see if they raise both. It could have just gotten mixed in when they were shipped.

I just picked up my BCMs that one looks just like them. Not all of them lay dark dark eggs. Unfortunately.

Hi everyone, yes I hatched it myself and looks like an oops. I just hatched a bunch of chicks and swore this came from a partridge egg. But I agree bcm.

Rockinpaints for the win! For the most part I can't tell one breed of chick from the other (apart from obvious ones with extra toes and puffy cheeks- etc). that is awesome

It's just strange because the body shape, wings don't look like bcm. It looks like an orp but colored like a bcm haha

It was such a nice day I decided to take a few pictures of our boy Bullion, Bully for short. He is 11 months at we are hoping he will produce so nice babies with our girls. Feel free to comment.
