I think the Partridge are a little more difficult as well.  The Laced (Gold, Silver etc) can have lacing that is a little incomplete and still be very lovely birds, but because the Partridge is double laced if it isn't nice and crisp it just kind of looks smutty, or smeared.    But even those (and there will be some) can be fixed by selective breeding.  Oh gosh  they're just all so beautiful!!

I don't have breeding the GL under my belt yet. But I just am so drawn to the patterned birds

. I have to make a confession though. And please don't tell my GL! I am soooo in love with your blacks! They are no fuss perfect.
