Temps and humidity could affect them yes. Mine always hatch on day 21 or 22. Slow pokes!!! Good luck!

I was hoping somebody saw my mention of "Royal Blue Orps", I'm glad you like it! I think it's very fitting.
In all seriousness the pictures of Winston and Clementine are some of the bluest blues I've ever seen in chickens. Especially on Winston. They don't look "steely blue gray" like other blues I've seen, (not only in Orps) so I think the name could be very fitting! And what better way to establish your line then with a very unique name?

I'm crossing my fingers for my babies too, I keep hearing in the back of my head "don't count your chickens before they hatch"... BUT I CAN'T HELP IT! Those little ones need to get a move on,

I like the "Royal Blue" thing, too - something this special needs to be set apart, in my opinion.

Joy I hope the hatch is 100%!!!
