Thanks Joy!! I think so. Saphira's kacing is coming along so nicely I just can't even stand it!! I really looked at the two boys yesterday while moving them to their new "big kid" brooder AKA the front half of my big coop. 6x8 ft. They probably feel bewildered by all the running rom! Anywho..... The black cockerell is definitely gonna be my keeper! He has 5 points on his comb and noticeably bigger than the blue who has about 8 or so points. Can't wait for them to be grown so I can see their beautimousness. Yes, that's a word!!

I feel very lucky... Getting more eggs from the blue room after removing a bunch of extra roos.. went from 4 to 7. Getting more pullet eggs now than before. The buff room (15 hens) are givening me 12 a day. I think the reason is.. I have 3 different age groups in blue house.

Lovely birds Kathy... Makes me wanna go visit my own coop... lol

I feel your pain, my lavender orp girls are going thru a very late molt

and I have been waiting to start crossing them with my Bama blacks for improvement. Haven't had an egg in almost a month.
