The IMPORTED ENGLISH Orpington Thread

Thank you all for all the congrats. I am just thankful. I did'nt know if i would place or not and would have been happy for anyone owning a Orpington to win. Imogene and i had a wonderful trip home and somehow and we don't know how made it back to Dothan without speeding in record time and parked our Chickens in the Church Parking lot at 10:36 this morning and although we had our Chicken clothes on we went in and enjoyed the service and gave thanks.

Here is the 75% UK english cockerel I showed that got the 1

Another pic of Taylor. As you can see her feet are very visible. She does not have cochin tail. She is so much bigger than this photo shows. I love this bird and I have been telling Joy for months she was show quality and i would show her.

Here is the picture of the Blue hen of mine that won Best Variety. She is not as pretty as Minerva that i sent to Joy last year. Now that is a show bird in the cage] Her lacing is superb

Some of you that got pullets off of Minerva and Winston should show them. I know there are some great birds out there.

I am terrible at making pics of them in the cage.
I wanted to show this so you can see that she has two inches of leg showing and does not have a cochin tail. She is built very well
with a nice round breast

This hen got number 2. She was a big broad beautfiul girl that used to belong to Imogene but now belongs to Rusty Wilkie. She is a Charlie offspring.

Beautiful, beautiful birds Julie, congratulations again!

There is just no comparing a American type Orp to one with English lineage, I'm not surprised at all that you took the show!
