Sorry about posting late. Congrats on the win....for sure.! Never thought there would be a day that some of our kids would be at a show much less winning one. Tell Taylor we are proud of her and give her some special treats. Foot is still attached and Joy is still alive things are good here...

Yeah I dont get a chance to get on here much to say the least. Nice to get to see whats going on in the chicken world. Would love to have a 50lb sack of mud puppies sent my way..

Im sure along with a nice cold 12 pack that my foot would be just fine..

Hope all are doing well and your chickens are spoiled. Must go order yeast so I can get a couple of batches of peach mead started

Then how are you filling them without dumping water on yourself?? Did you removed the whole bottom and make holes through the sides??

Plug the hole up with your finger.. Or you could even drill a larger hole in the top and use something (like a small watering can) to pour water in. The nipples come with rubber seals that fit on the backside. It was too hard to install the rubber when stuck through the bottom.​

Ok now I understand.. I think using a pair of kitchen tongs would help hold it while being inserted if need be . But your idea looks like it would work just fine
