I couldnt wait to share!!! Yesterday morning I got my beautiful BAMA chicks. I took pics of each one as I put on their leg bands. But I wont post all of them, as that seems like a little over board. But here are a few of them. I have never seen such huge babies, healthy happy and having a ball. Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I do.

This is one of 5 Splash chicks

Evening Joy. I too don't post allot of personal talk but today has been one of the worst days that I can remember in a very very long time. I laid to rest my best friend of 12 years, my min. schnauzer. One of the toughest decision I have made but he went down hill extremely fast (within two days) and appeared to be in pain this morning. Most likely kidney failure along with other discomforts and issues. He is a better place now and forever in my heart.

Oh, Tricia, my heart just breaks for you. We too have a mini schnauzer and he is just all heart. ETA - you did the most loving thing by letting go.

Tricia so sorry for your loss. How devestating that must be for you. We just picked our 3 month old bichon puppy up from the vet this afternoon. She had been in there since Friday morning on IV and meds. It was touch and go for a bit. My daughter was so upset. I cant imagine if we lost her. Like you said at least he's no longer in pain.

Tricia - I am so, so sorry. I can only imagine how you must feel. I have 3 dogs (mutts) that are my heart, and when something ever happens to them, I'm going to be a mess. It's just so amazing how animals (especially dogs) touch our hearts and lives. Dogs just give something to us that is very, very special....unconditional love. My heart goes out to you - but just take comfort that you did the most loving thing you could do. He is happy and healthy now on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge
