The IMPORTED ENGLISH Orpington Thread

Thank you all. Tricia so sorry about your family. Will be praying for you all.

I have been out shopping and just bought my Chandilier for my bathroom. I have tile in the roof of my shower and they are here working again. Soon and Very Soon I hope to have the tile all layed and grouted and my new Bathtub out of my dining room. I just hope everything turns out like I have pictured in my mind.

I need to take some more pics of my very cute and fat less than a week old Orps. I need to run back to TSC. I forgot to stop and get pine pellts cause I was so excited about the lighthing for my Bathroom.

Julie, so glad to hear that you came thru o.k., unfortunately for one of our family members god said it was his time to come home. My husbands parents have been here this week visiting and were expected to head back to FL tomorrow. They are now packing to head to AL this afternoon to be with his moms sister in her time of loss and need.

Our thoughts and prayers are will all of those who were in the wake of this terrible tragic storm.

So sorry to hear of your family loss Hen Thymes. It is hard to watch the news and see the devastation.

Just a quick update - I have more eggs hatching on Sunday and I already have WAY TOO MANY CHICKS !!! I can't even hear myself think in the house because of all the peeping and cheeping. HELP !!

I'm checking in a bit late, sorry everyone, work has kept me away from the forum these past couple of days. Tricia, my thoughts are with you and your family. I'm so very sorry for your loss.

Julie, I'm glad to hear the worst parts of the storm weren't in your area.

Joy, can you ever really have too many chicks?

has anyone noticed a correlation between chick down and how they feather out? I got chicks from Julie a few days ago and I noticed some seem "puffier"....was wondering if I should band them to see if they end up being the fluffiest? What you you think?
