I have a boy growing out that I think is looking pretty good. Lavender rooster is of good size, but has an Austrolorp tail.

Mom is an English Orp. He is still very young, but I am looking forward to seeing him grown.

My dogs heard some varmit out their. lol
That Blue cockerel does have Bamma's boy Doc's blood. Yours has a nicer rounded chest. Give em time and you will be very happy you mixed in quality orp blood. Pics do not lie!

Speaking of varmits ..... I have trapped 18 coons so far. Traps are always set. They are THICK this year! I worry constantly about predators.

Thank you! She is now wearing a saddle and is not nearly as perdy. When she gets her feathers grown back in I will get more pictures.

Shot 2 out of a tree about a month ago. They were 2 young ones. I hate to kill anything. But I rather get them before they grow up and think I raise chickens for them to eat.

You will get through this and those orps that make it will be stronger for it. Put your burdens in the Lords hands and stop worrying.

Keep your chin up <hugs>

So sorry that Mareks continues to cause death and sadness. There will be better days to come...
