Points on the comb aren't the most important thing on the birds, a bird that has an extra or is lacking a point only gets docked 1/2 point per on the 100 point judging scale.

I see, I was told mine had 7 points (she has 6 looking at this) still too many unless she was outstanding which she is not. she is for a color project, I had thought about doing orpsm, too much to learn and so little time

Whoops. I didn't mean to interrupt all of the point counting. I hope it is OK to post this update about my rooster.

I'm not sure if this roo is 100% English. But, how is he looking now at 5 1/2 months old? Some have advised me to cull him. Not going to happen. There's English, there's American, and then there's ...well. At 5 1/2 months, he's still a baby.

He's looking good to me. Please give constructive criticism. I don't mind.

Not enough fluf around the butt for a pure English bird, but I have never had one bit of deelings with buffs, so what do I know, & the back seems a little long, just my openion & what I see in my birds, dont want to get executed here. Yall have a good day & Merry Christmas to everyone !!!

I thought his chest stuck out kind of funny, but that could just be the picture angle. Agreed he doesn't have the fluff a good English should have, but maybe he'll grow into some of it, he's still pretty young. And if you like him, by all means keep him!

Roger she is gorgeous.. I had four eggs this morning. I am going to separate them next week. I am delivering one Blue cockerel on Thurs to the Bham area since I am headed that way for the day.. I am very excited as usual to hatch chicks.
I tried to make a box to take photos in yesterday and my DH said it was to small. They all set down on me and I did not get one good photo out of them. They look half their size squatting like hens in the box. One wouldn't even stand half way up I think I will post a picture of him. I got a little frustrated at him. I still love him though.

Look at him. He just sat down. i tried to lift him up and he acted like he had no lets at all'
