Julie, those Blue boys look enormous! Do you have any idea how much they weigh?

Nava, I really like your Black cockerel. I would say he has a 5 point comb, too. I wouldn't count that first little bump as a comb, IMO.

Thanks Jeremy. I haven't weighed them . I did pick them up and the largest felt like around 10 lb. The girls are a good 7 for sure. I didn't pick them all up.

The male on the right of that picture looks very good Julie. Do you have any more pictures of him?

Our club show was good last weekend. David Pownall won Champion Orpington with a black bantam cockerel, he also won Reserve Champion with a large black hen that was Club Show Champion last year and Regional Champion at this years National. I won the blue male class and he went on to win best blue overall out of large and bantam. I didn't get any photos, buti should have the Orpington Club site finished soon with plenty of pictures.

the only flaw I see in him is that his tail is starting to lean to one side, I hope he don't get disqualified.

I will be showing mostly Naked Necks.

thank you all.

Matt I would love to see the pics from that show. I have a few pics but they are a month ago and he has grown. I tried to do on of those boxes like you make pics in. I didn't have it large enough. I made a few of him but they didnt turn out as good as he looks. He crouched most of time. He didn't completely set down like the other one. I am going to keep working at it till I get a good way to take nice photos of them posing.

Nava i would love to compete against you. Don't know yet if I can make it to Lake City this Jan. but I am going to for sure try and get to Newnan.

Beautiful sunshiny day here in Alabama. 70 degrees. I had such a wonderful time just being outside. I let some of the young birds out for a while late in the evening and decided to make a few pics. I am also in the middle of making some really fine Fettucine Alfredo and and Awesome Salad for Dinner tomorrow. I have jumbo fresh Shrimp already steamed with Cajun Seasoning chilling in the Fridge. It is gonna be good.
Oh and now back to the birds.
