Im having a little trouble understanding why USDA destroyed those birds?
I am legal on my end to import hatching eggs but am not legal to import birds..we go through USDA inspections and bloodtesting every year. plus added tests. members NPIP.
its a little bit of a hassle but worth it.
importing birds like these would be a dream come true...i sometimes swear that things just go against americans who really want to make things better here , is monsantoes behind that?you just get held back all of the time. they make everything to hard when we should be taking step to drastically improve what we have.just a hundred years ago these birds were traded back and forth like trading cards, now you cant touch it.no one got sick from them its thepeople travel all over and bring home the sickness.and when commercial conglomorate farms clog birds into unnatural, unhealthy too tiny cages that people get sick. we come over the pond quit often for visit. if i knew for sure we could get there sometime this year, i would pay your expences for handeling shipping eggs, inspection and paperwork. ive already signed myself up for enough shows that i propbly wouldnt get away.i know for sure my sister is, and my cousins, i swear my cousin flys over just to get a gallon of milk they are there so often.

Would giving birds or eggs to another breeder with the right papers be legal to ship?

No, the farm the birds or eggs come from have to be tested.

So how well do they lay? I have seen that they don't lay very well than I have seen they are good layers?
