Oh, do tell! How do you tell the difference??

Wattles, comb, and bare butts = males.

I have had several Orps with naked butts and slow feather that ended up being female. I can't say the same for my ameraucanas or marans though. Orps seem to be the exception in many cases, and I have hatched hundreds of them over the years.

So how long do you have to wait to find that out? The 9-week-olds are obvious, but I have some 2-week-olds and would love to know I'm guessing at least one girl by the difference in her feathering?

I can only hope to have that same thing happen here. Thus far, all the naked butts have been male.

I can't see the tail on the black on the bottom right, but that expression and eye looks girly to me.

I have about a dozen chicks growing out, and I am beginning to think every one of them is male.
