Sissy - Predator attack
You know, I must admit that left to my own devices, I probably would've never gotten chickens as I've had a few dreaded encounters in my childhood. Like being coaxed by a friend to take a "shortcut" through the neighbors yard only to get chased down and pecked by dozens of them! Then there's my MA who just HAD to put her geese on front and back porch to keep us kids from ruining the freshly cleaned house. So, I was less than enthused when my daughter begged me for chick's we saw at the local feed store last year. I am absolutely AMAZED at how friendly, loving and loyal they are! I love my chickens dearly as they bring me much love, laughter, joy and companionship. I wouldn't change it for the world!
