The inevitable humidity question, day before lockdown, help please!

2 out of 4 have hatched today, both have white on head :(
Too soon to dig around for the others,
am hoping in morning to get a better look and pics.

Sexlinks are cool, but finding out gender at hatch kind of reduces the joy of hatching.

:( I feel the same way when I hatch my SDW OEGBs. They aren't technically sex links, but usually visual enough to tell.
Look forward to pics!

Well, my friend, with any luck you will at least get a 50/50 ratio like I did. BTW are these eggs that came from your own chickens? If so, are you hatching them with eggs that did not come from your chickens? I have discovered that my chicks are much, much more robust than the BCM chicks that I got from my shipped eggs. Interested to know if you are in the same boat?

Eggs were from my flock.

Hatched local Marans eggs for a cockerel and bought local CCL pullet chicks last spring. Long desired birds and cross for OE. Only have 1 out of 2 CCL's(lost 1 over winter, should have gotten more) going to get more here soon, eggs to hatch or pullet chicks.

She's only setting CCL eggs.

Crud... sorry, keeping my fingers crossed for the last one. OK so were all the eggs from the same hen?
Yep, only have 1 CCL.
Bought 2 last spring, lost 1 over winter, gonna buy or hatch a few more this spring.
Maybe she doesn't 'make girls', hope to hatch more of hers in a few weeks.
