Well, move to next chapter. I left for my exercise class today and this turkey, right outside the front door, decides that I am not actually his/her (now not sure that this is not the young tom) adoptive birth mother, but an enemy of some hideous kind. Now I should preface this by saying that I was wearing a light and dark grey puffy jacket at this point which may have made this idiot think I was another large turkey. The walkway from my house to my car is about 60 feet approx. This bird came running at me flapping his wings and making this really weird noise, at which point I started running backwards, towards the car, ninja leaping and kicking and screaming at this creature that was trying to kill me! My oldest son, 16, who has pyjama day today, heard me screaming and came running out in his bright blue PJ onesie (with monster feet attached), and started gobbling and charging at the bird. At this point in time, I had made it to the car, in hysterics watching my very tall, very slim boy running away to the house in his blue onesie being pursued by a VERY upset turkey!!!!!

You can't make this stuff up!!
The bird at this point, is at the door, knocking and knocking very softly saying "come out, come out wherever you are...."

Turkey dinner, anyone?
