I miss living in CA. We actually got a card for Orange County too. It was really nice. The OC libraries always had a good selection of Boxcar Children. Not the paperback ones. No, these were the hardcover ones, probably the original prints instead of the paperbacks.

I was never fond of the Boxcar Children. Their lives were too "easy" so to speak. Things just worked out way to miraculously for them all the time.

I have a huge collection of the paperbacks from the used bookstore at the local library, but they're packed away somewhere.

Hardcovers are 100% better. Probably why 96% of my collection is hardcovers.
