Both my khakis are now laying, those are the biggest yolks I've ever seen. My son was amazed and asked for another piece of toast to dunk cuz it was the 1st time he didn't run out of yolk before toast. lol!1 wewcz5, you will love them, they are so friendly and great eggs

How old are they? I'm waiting for eggs from my KC hen. I have a hen and drake. They were 20wks around 9/27.

I'm really getting worried that she may be laying else where in the yard somewhere. Should I place some eggs in the duck house for her to see thats where she should be laying them?

I would just keep her penned up a little longer than usual. Mine usually have laid by 8am so I try not to let them out until 9.

I kept them in the chicken yard today with their duck house and I didn't get any eggs. Maybe tomorrow. Starting tomorrow I'll let them out of the chicken yard but not until 10 or 11.

Does anyone else have a drake that , with the exception of bill color and some wing color, looks like a mallard drake? My boy

I'm considering adding a few ducks to my chicken flock. How does the nest. Box need to be set up? Hieght off the ground. Can they climb up a ramp/ladder?

this is my chicken house. I am adding a second run off to the right. Still early enough in the build to change things if I need too. Any advice. Thanks
