Here's something I try to do as often as I can: Pay someone a compliment who you wouldn't necessarily pay a compliment to. The timing has to be right, or it just sounds fake, but you get what I mean.

Something happened Tuesday night that just made me beam. DH and I took a former coworker out to dinner because she was in town. (She's young enough to be our daughter.) She said she hoped she would be like us when she got older. "You guys are so cool! I hope I'm like you!" was how she put it.

Thanks what a lovely idea. I stayed away for a while because someone was obnoxious to me on here. So let me say that I have had free range chickens for decades, and they are a joy . They are much hardier than you would think. If you're new to chickens keep them safe, clean, watered, feed. You will be rewarded. They talk back, they love their sisters, they mourn, they get happy, mad, greedy, intimidate dogs, love a good petting, and know their names. Relax and Enjoy. They are the OLDEST domesticated animal..

Maybe they've been really encouraging and kind, or maybe they are extremely helpful when it comes to sick chickens. Swing by their profile and let them know how thankful you are for what they do! 3. To a few people you know, send an email, letter, text, etc., and let them know what you're really grateful for about them!
