Hiya red! I'm doing well. Kinda sore and stuff....I'm not stooped over too much today. I just came back from a nice hot shower, it took me forever, but it was worth it. Sorry about your day so far, it has to get better now!

Hi, Luna So glad you are feeling better. Do take it easy, heal thy self.

The wind has cleared out of my end of Arizona! I am thankful for that! I am on 2nd day of sun shine. I worked on leveling dirt, and raking Rocks yesterday! I got a little carried away. My shoulders let me know all about it.

I taught a group of 15, young hearing impaired people. Electronic Component I D, Soldering, wiring and cabling. They have to be certified to a set standard. to get a job! All 15 got jobs. Some went to Boeing and others went to similar type electronics company.

They had two interpreters everyday. There were no signs for most component symbols. The students were so creative. They made there own and we all shared. The interpreters would change places every 15 min. I did get a plaque from the city. I am very proud of that.

Just a foot note......All but one of the young folks, Lost they hearing because their Mothers Smoked. The one guys mother had German Measles. That was an eye opener for me.

Orp yes I was a nurse for 7 years while I was studying...lol. It certainly seems we do have a lot in common, and this summer I am going to be doing lots more around the house. Have been making a lot effort while I was offline to get things started.

Putting up fences tomorrow again, but that marks the real effort for my private little courtyard at the side of the house outside the office, so I am hoping b

y late summer I can really enjoy it out there under a pergola.

I will be sooooooo spoilt.

I really need to sit and have some coffee with friends today. I just buried one of my EE's. She was acting a little off the past couple of days, but still eating and drinking and free ranging with the girls. It just seemed like she was not really into it if you know what I mean.
Then yesterday, she did not leave the coop and was laying in an egg box. She laid an egg, so I don't think she was eggbound. It just happened so fast. I don't know if I could have done anything.

Needless to say, it is raining like crazy and it is only 32 degrees out right now. We are in the middle of a N'easter. I came in wet and cold and sad. Instead of coffee, I think I need some hot cocoa with whipped cream. That might make me feel a little better.

Hello everyone!!
*reads orpies note* Hmmm.. non conventional job... Ugh, I was a telemarketer for a while. Not necessarily unconventional, but definately undesirable. You want to know what made it worse? I was selling( well, actually, I didn't sell any) extended warranties for cars. So, I was pretending to ask people for a thousand bucks for something they didn't need.
I was a summer day camp counselor. Loved that job. And yes, I'm sure you can easily picture me in that job.
Oh,Oh.. my first paying job besides babysitting was unconventional- I picked blueberries.

Recently,at my current job, I got a promotion of sorts- a new department, of which I am the head of. And I have a new guy!

I dont think that i've ever really had an non convetional job...
My jobs have all been pretty basic...
restaurant work
CNA
personal care assistant
went to school for medical billing.. (never worked in it though.. i hated it..

)
well.., i guess my job i have now is sort of non conventional..
Therapeutic foster parent, I take in some hard cases.. and i never know whats going to happen. It keeps me on my toes..thats for sure..
