Welcome back everyone! I was just wondering about this thread last week and when I get back from vacation I find that people are coming back...that's so cool! I've missed all of you!!

Last week I drove my oldest daughter (24) down to El Cajon, she'll be attending San Diego Christian College this fall. She's hoping to 'red shirt' with the volleyball team this fall and so participated in a "team building" event this last weekend. I hate LA traffic and of course we hit LA at peak rush hour traffic (4PM) and didn't arrive at our motel in El Cajon until 6:30PM. Anyway, it's good to be home!

Good for you! It must have been tiring, though. Traffic, especially rush hour, is a pain.

I plan on going into the University located in Albuquerque. They have a masters in accounting available!

Hi John! Nice to see you again.

San Diego is such a nice area. All 3 of my sons went to college down there. One has settled down there, and my youngest is in his last year at UCSD. I'd move down closer to them if I could. Your daughter should have a blast!

Um, I'm pretty sure it's always rush hour in LA.

The only time I have ever driven through there without horrible traffic is at midnight.

PK, New Mexico is a mighty pretty place. I loved visiting there!

Franklinton/Louisburg area over in Granville County.
I've accidentally killed the pink phlox plants my DBF bought me. I thought the chickens would leave them alone...

They didn't.
And I love the Fall. In fact, I can't wait until it gets here, I'm melting in this heat and humidity! I love the State Fair, the Fall colors, the crisp air, apples, wood smoke, the smell of curing bacon.
Okay, that knocks 10 and 28 off the list!
