Griffin got a sparkle in his eye. This made him so angry that he suddenly grew bigger, and started to turn all shadowy. Soon he was a shadow-rooster as big as a building, and abruptly he disappeared, for he had become a nightmare creature in less than minute and was now in the nightmare world.
 
Gossamer abruptly stopped laughing as the rooster went through a transformation which boded no good for the balance between the worlds. She deliberately started to think about a world without color(similar to in the giver) and turned into a nightmare creature, a mix of thestral and spider. She quickly found the rooster, and determined to watch over him, to make sure he didn't become corrupted and turn fully into a nightmare creature.
 
Griffin sulked in the nightmare world, for he still had a piece if glitter in his eye. He then attempted to squish a nightmare creature that resembled a large bat, cause the glitter was really frustrating him.
 
Gossamer had completely forgotten about her new baby, and it was now crying for sparkles too eat. Would anyone help it?

Griffin made a grumpy face as he was rained on. "Really Gossamer?" He said, clicking his beak. He blinked and realized a miracle had happened. The glitter was gone! He started to shrink, and was now a very small shadowy rooster. He didn't want to get out of the nightmare world just yet.
 
Gossamer sighed in relief and settled back. She decided to nearly pounce on a young male dreamer nearby. She sensed he ridiculed his little sister for being afraid of spiders, so she decided to show him her side of it-not scaring him too much, just enough for him to respect her more.
 
Griffin wandered away, looking for someone to scare. He found a dreamer and started making creepy noises, flitting from one place to the next.
